All of our items ship directly from our business in Utah, United States.
We are able to ship to nearly anywhere in the world. If your location is eligible for shipping you will be able to select from the available carriers when placing your order. If no shipping options are available please email us at contact@graymountainstudios.com or use our contact form and we will do our best to find a solution for shipping to you.
All international customers should be aware that as the seller we do not pay for any applicable duty, value added tax (VAT), or import consumption taxes charged by your country.
The recipient of the merchandise is responsible for paying all applicable taxes and fees as required by their country of residence.
Most orders shipped within the United States will arrive within 2-7 business days depending on the shipping option selected when the order is placed. International shipments should arrive within 2-15 days depending upon destination and shipping option selected, but may take longer due to customs inspections or other shipping delays.
Currently the majority of our fully handmade and laser cut items are made from baltic birch. We are however actively looking to source other wood species including maple, oak, and cherry.
Personalized cutting boards are made from maple, walnut, or bamboo.
Personalized drinkware is constructed of powder coated food grade stainless steel with bpa and lead free plastic lids.
Wood is a natural product with each piece having its own unique grain and structure. This diversity is part of the charm of using natural materials in our products and adds to the uniqueness of each piece. All of our natural finish items are lightly oiled with a non toxic, food grade, and allergen neutral mineral oil to protect their finish. It is recommended that these items be re-oiled once or twice a year when they begin to look dull or dry.
Alternatively, the items can be oiled with natural oils such as tung oil, walnut oil, coconut oil or raw linseed. We do not ship items with these oils out of consideration for tree nut allergies in the case of the former two and the risk of rancidity in the latter two.
Our natural finish products can also be finished with any other wood finish of your choice suitable for your intended usage.
Items that have been ordered with a wax-based finish had have a non toxic food grade wax consisting of beeswax, carnauba wax, or both applied. It is recommended that these items be inspected for dryness every 3 to 4 weeks and re-waxed if the wood looks dry. As the wood becomes further conditioned over time the frequency of re-application will be reduced.
Personalized drinkware is not recommended for dishwashers and should be hand washed whenever possible to preserve the powder coating finish.
